Bauhaus Solar – Technology – Design – Environment Exhibition and Conference 2012, Erfurt

On 13th and 14th November 2012, the fifth International Congress Bauhaus Solar opens its doors in Erfurt, Germany, as a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue between architects, planners, civil engineers, technicians, designers and representatives of the solar, real estate and financial industries. This year’s common theme for the exhibition and conference is ‘Restructuring of Residential Areas and City Centres.’


Since 2008 the International Congress Bauhaus Solar has promoted interdisciplinary dialogue between architects, designers and other representatives of the solar, real estate and financial industry in order to exchange and develop innovative concepts, projects, ideas and research in renewable energies, particularly solar technology. At the same time, the focus has always been on the aesthetic influence of energy-related elements with regard to architecture and urban planning. Focus is the architectural integration of solar installations.
