New Product: Ecotemis Thin Film Collection

The Ecotemis Thin Film Collection glass-glass modules combine high energy performance with customized design to enable versatility and creativity in architectural integration.

Ecotemis have a core competence in manufacturing customized modules according to a company’s specific needs. From the TF Collection, the customer is able to specify a wide range of colors, transparencies, dimensions, light diffusion, electrical output, and thermal and acoustic performance, suited to their project.

Engineered for architectural integrationThese TF modules enable a wide variety of building-integrated (BIPV) applications, including roofing, facades, skylights, windows, shading systems, and covered walkways. Ecotemis design modules for easy integration into building materials, from flexible positioning of electrical components to bespoke dimensions. The TF Collection offers not only energy performance, but also weather protection, heat insulation, sunlight modification, ventilation, acoustic/visual comfort, and safety.

Superior energy performance in a variety of environments and light orientationsManufactured using amorphous-silicon (a-Si) thin-film photovoltaics, the TF modules feature a low temperature coefficient and a higher yield in diffuse light conditions.

Consequently, the TF Collection offers superior energy output in temperate or hot climates and on roofs and facades that do not offer an optimal direction with respect to the sun.

Attractive return on investmentWith the Ecotemis Thin Film Collection, the building material will pay for itself through stable and attractive yearly cash flows from clean electricity production. The company advises the customer on the BIPV value proposition and customizes product offerings to help achieve specific financial performance metrics.

Commitment to high qualityThe Ecotemis Thin Film Collection is manufactured under stringent quality inspection in our leading-edge European factory, using amorphous thin-film photovoltaics technology from the Swiss company Oerlikon Solar.
