Ennead (formerly Polshek Partnership)

Ennead Architects LLP (formerly Polshek Partnership) is a New York City-based architectural firm. In 2010, the nine partners of Polshek Partnership renamed their practice.

The 150-person firm offers architecture, master planning, historic preservation and interior design services. The majority of the firm’s work is for cultural, educational, governmental and scientific not-for-profit institutions. The firm is led by nine Partners: Joseph Fleischer, Timothy Hartung, Duncan Hazard, Kevin McClurkan, Richard Olcott, Susan Rodriguez, Tomas Rossant, Todd Schliemann, and Don Weinreich. Presently retired, founder of Polshek Partnership James Polshek holds the title of Design Counsel.

The firm’s architectural solutions are rooted in extensive research involving the analysis of context, program, public image and environmental and construction technologies. Commitment to exploring architecture’s expressive power and conviction that meaningful architecture must truly represent the mission and identity of an institution drive the firm’s design philosophy.

The firm is a member of the United States Green Building Council, and twenty-five percent of registered architects on staff are LEED Accredited Professionals.
