Crissy Field Center's state of the art green education facility is an educational center located in San Francisco's Presidio and it serves as a hub of youth engagement for Golden Gate National Parks and a model program of the National Park Service. Luminalt Energy Corporation has installed a range of renewable technologies at the site, including a solar electric system, several types of wind turbines and an electric car charging station. Along with a rain catchment system and solar hot water system, the center uses these technologies to teach children about environmental responsibility and the feasibility of solar energy.

Crissy Field Center programs aim to encourage young generations to become bold leaders and enthusiasts for thriving parks, healthy communities and a more environmentally just and aware society. With their focus on engaging people who traditionally have had little-if any-access to national parks, the Center has developed strong partnerships with schools and community centers in underserved areas, providing a majority of its programming for free or at low cost.
